SSAS Pension Account Manager Role.
Hartsfield is looking for an experienced Pension Account Manager who will be responsible for providing all day-to-day administration services to Hartsfield’s SSAS clients in cooperation with Hartsfield’s financial planning team.
Our offices (or Pods as we call them) are located in Bristol, Box and Cheltenham. The Pension Account Manager will be free to work from any of the offices and, on one day per week, can also work from home. Each pod consists of Financial Planners, Paraplanners, Relationship Managers and Administrators. This means that each colleague in each role gets to focus on what they do best.
Under the direction of Hartsfield’s leadership team and SSAS consultants, the Pension Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Dealing with all clients efficiently, professionally and fairly within prescribed timescales to deliver an exceptional, remarkable standard of customer service
- Preparing and filing reports required by HMRC and TPR to include VAT, PAYE and PSRs on or ahead of time
- Calculating and, once checked, paying pension benefits (capped drawdown reviews, pensions payroll, payment of PCLS, preparation of BCE certificates etc.)
- Dealing with existing scheme assets e.g Property rental invoicing and insurance and service charge recharges and promptly chasing any rental/loan arrears (levying appropriate fees as per the fee schedule)
- Setting up bank payments, issuing invoices as per fee schedule and chasing debtors
- Maintaining all internal and external scheme records to a level which exceeds minimum requirements (e.g. Omni, Volume, Salesforce, HMRC, TPR, ICO)
- Managing transfers in and out (once approved by SSAS Technical) of SSAS schemes efficiently, professionally and accurately

What to expect
Starting Salary
£35,000 - £40,000
Pension
5% matched pension contributions.
Holiday
33 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year, for every completed year of service (up to a maximum of 5 extra days).
Life Cover
6 times salary ‘death in service’ life cover.
